Re: 2020 Election

Because the goal is not to "'reform," "train," or "improve" the police. It's to get them off the streets.

"Reform," "training" and "improvement" requires a lot more resources and a lot more...

Re: 2020 Election

Re: General Election - 2020 edition

If it becomes legalised, there will still be a market for the illegal dealers, doing bootleg, because taxes etc are likely going to make it unaffordable (or unaffordable for the quantity desired) by...

Re: 2020 Election

Oh OK then! So why do Patrisse Cullors and all the other leaders refuse to disassociate, denounce and repudiate? And why do you denounce police attempts to rein in the criminal gangs you are...

Re: 2020 Election

Sure. I condemn and deplore government violence against non-violent protesters. I don't vet my values or beliefs through an ideological prism first, which confuses the hell out of you and a few...

Re: 2020 Election

Joe Biden leads Donald Trump 51-44% in North Carolina, according to the latest NBC News/Marist Poll.

If the poll is accurate and stays that way, the rout will be on.

Re: 2020 Election

The group currently fronting the protests (in the PNW) are the Youth Liberation Front. One of their stated objectives is to end capitalism. Patrisse Cullors boasts that she is a "trained Marxist."

Re: 2020 Election

One other thing - it will hurt Biden if the media shapes a narrative that his VP pick, whoever it is, is some kind of president-in-waiting because of Biden's age. Biden is the headline on the ticket,...

Re: 2020 Election

Still to early to say. It isn't going to come down to sneaky back-room tactics. It never does, but it gives some people some comfort in thinking there is some way to put a finger on the scale or...

Re: 2020 Election

Correct. Clinton never polled as well as Biden currently is. Clinton occasionally had pops up to about an 8 point lead or so but never consistently.

The question is, have the polling companies...
