I had the same issue. Trying a different browser seemed to work occasionally, most of the time Firefox seemed to work quicker than Chrome and IE.

That's what I thought (border agents disagreed though) and the LVO confirmed it this morning. My ETA is still valid but I don't think I will take the chance.

I landed today and there was no request for IMM 5785, they just take both copies for the COPR and retain the copy with your photo on it.

I am in the same boat, I would expect to receive it within the next 2 weeks. Just got a parcel sent from London on the 13th Dec yesterday.

You need to provide enough evidence to prove that you are in a genuine relationship if going down the marriage route. I supplied photos, chat logs, airline tickets, holiday info, letters from family...

Mine took one day to change to Decision Made and get the COPR notification :ohmy: ... I was expecting it to take 2 months!

In terms of starting work, do you have to wait for the actual PR card before you can start working? I assume you get some sort of paper document which you could use instead.

Yep you will need to get an I-94 when crossing into the USA, you also need to make sure you have the ESTA. I wouldn't specifically mention that you want an I-94 or anything to do with Canada, just...

You need to start on a TTOC (Teacher Teaching On-Call) list in BC. You have to apply to the relevant districts and you then start on the ladder to potentially getting a full time teaching position....

Yep that's what all the info on the CIC website says...but I keep getting told by officials working at Canadian borders that you can.
