I must admit, I hadn't really realised the difference between the pre-grant and the grant letter until now (I had assumed that 'pre-grant' meant this was the letter that allowed your visa...

just to let you know, I got my pre-grant letter on Saturday.

Timeline as follows:

Acknowledgement dated 5.01.04

Medicals & PCs sent mid Sept 04

Just check out the trap stevereed mentioned about your experience. In deb's case it doesn't matter as I think she only needs the assessment and in my case...
