I've always photographed the item and advised them on sending it of the price and signed the forms. Out of six registered items sent to the uk two haven't turned up. And the others took three weeks...

You won't need a lawyer if you are the victim of a crime, even in Spain ;-)

There are a number of agencies in Spain who assist victims of crime to prepare for court.

I always thought once a deposit is paid then any withdrawal from the sale means you lose it. Equally if the vendor does the same they pay back double your deposit. There will obviously be others here...
