Re: Any recent timeline experiences for I-751 processing letters?

Got...

Re: US Treasury Year End Exchange Rate

Hmmm - For taxes I could just have my accountant use the exchange rate figure at the time of each individual transaction...but that would be a major PITA. Still doesn't solve the FBAR part though.

Was at an upscale outdoor shopping area (think Coach, Williams Sonoma, J Crew, Apple etc) with the Wife last week in a fairly wealthy predominantly white...

Re: Any recent timeline experiences for I-751 processing letters?

Not really, but I’ve used an InfoPass before when I...

Re: Any recent timeline experiences for I-751 processing letters?

But it is baffling how two letters (,,,the most important ones!)...

Re: Any recent timeline experiences for I-751 processing letters?

Urgh - still no letter. Phoned USCIS on 2nd and they said a scheduler from my local office would contact me within 48-72 hours. ...turns out iPhones detect the schedulers number as a scam phone call,...

Re: US resident paying double taxes

You have a similar scenario to me (or at least what I'd originally planned when I moved)...only I hired a US accountant from the start to avoid any hassle. The key change that has made everything...

Re: Any recent timeline experiences for I-751 processing letters?

UPDATE: Spoke to a very helpful and pleasant USCIS rep - supposedly they sent the processing notice to me on 6th November...so it's well and truly lost in USPS somewhere. They have submitted to have...

Re: Any recent timeline experiences for I-751 processing letters?

The funnier part is that the processing time is now 18 months so I'll be able to apply for, and likely get, citizenship before this even finishes processing. LOL

Any recent timeline experiences for I-751 processing letters?

USCIS cashed my $680 application cheque 3 weeks ago and as of yet still no confirmation of processing letter.

I travel back to Europe at least once a month so that letter is pretty essential for...

Re: Heindsight for the hasty! UK to USA (Mid-West)

I think this is generally going to be variable depending on the age of the person in question and for what purpose they moved over. I can see how someone who uprooted because of their partners job...
