Can't follow your logic. You suggest 'one change now' and then say 'both could drive in the UK'. How if its very difficult to find an insurer to accept a PT licence? I wouldn't say this is a valid...

Interesting. So I live in the UK for minimum of 185 days per year and I have a Portuguese residency as required for being in the PT for more than 3 months. So I can have a UK licence and a PT licence...

Just to add that we departed from Gatwick this morning with some trepidation to Faro. 6 passengers on the Easyjet flight over.....had our Covid tests/residency checked without any hitch. No passports...
