Agree on all points - apart from the " rent out" bit.

Many will need to sell and release cash to start up somewhere else as all monies tied up in bricks and mortar.

Many will end up borrowing...

swapping agents is not the answer - as good as swapping deckchairs around on the Titanic- unless you start to look at the key factors that draw a buyer i.e. location, price and parking.

1. You accept their offer if completion within 28 days.

Perth property prices continue to rise based on strong trade and economy factors in WA - thats what the vested interests i.e. estate agents, mortgage lenders and sellers want you to believe.

Have you considered taking a secured loan based on the security of the house, getting to Oz and then repay the loan once in Oz - in the meantime rent out the house to keep the payments on the debt...

Perth has always been the ideal place to buy more house than money, added bonus of quality of life, great beaches, good schools, good healthcare and cheaper flights to Europe / pacific rim....

Sold up properties in Perth, Oz last year.

Money transferred back to purchase uk investment property in years 2007/8.
