Sometimes I think online when people say 'nice area' its code for'Middle class area'. I could be wrong here. For that price I don't think you'd find find that kind of house in one of those areas....

Good luck with your move. I know a few people who have moved down there from Auckland. Most seem to love the easier lifestyle, though talk of missing the bigger mix of cultures etc that Auckland has....
