Alan,

if you cannot claim child benefit if you leave the country (which is understandable) but as a PR you can claim Family Tax Benefit - Part A. what is the score if you are on a Temporary Visa...

We're leaving in 14 days (and the counting is going too slowly for my liking!!) and heading directly to Mandurah which is 74kms south of Perth.

Perth seems a popular destination on this forum, so...

The container left last thursday with my computer in it, thats why i've been missing in action!!

I've changed e-mail adressess in the settings so forward the e-mail on again!!

Sure enough Rob, the ultra helpful lady at Emirates sent through written confirmation (and pre booked our seats and meals!!) within 10 minutes of my original phone call.

Not bad service i'd say!!
