My wife and I took a different approach when she sponsored me. We filled in the forms ourselves and paid $100 for a lawyer to check it.

She gave us a heads up on a form that was about to be...

Check out Bulk Barn for UK biscuits, they even stock Garibaldi biscuits. Walmart also stock own brand rich teas, although I’ve never bought any.

There's a Uk shop in the run down mall at Eglington and Victoria park called Mrs Bridge's.
It's been a few years since I went in but they sell lucozade, iron Bru etc

Small update:

For those wondering on a timeline for COPR from London, mine took 18 days.
Flying out just after New Year.

They give the option of either Ottawa (if your currently in Canada) or London. I'll be posting them to London as I'm in the UK at the moment.

My application seems to have remained in Mississauga for further processing according to my wife's application email.

Presumably due to her putting her/our address in Toronto on the application.

My wife got her sponsorship approval email last Monday (shes sponsoring my while I wait back in the UK). Our forms were processed 4 weeks ahead of the advertised date on the CIC...
