"B" is the correct answer, your taste buds are all over the place.

Hey, call me what ever you like, but my mate has re-mortgaged his house to set up this business,...

Re: Good British Indian style restaurant Perth

You never answered the question where you were from northernbird. We was discussing this tonight (with a few mates over a few beers, and a few curries) and we all came to the conclusion that

Re: Good British Indian style restaurant Perth

In UK, certainly in the Manchester area, most Chinese places are/were Cantonese, whereas in this part of the world a lot of the immigrants are mainland Chinese, or Malaysians etc, so it will taste...

Re: Good British Indian style restaurant Perth

Can't believe nobody has tried/commented on this place, seeing as so many curry starved Poms live here.

This place is the real deal.

Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Re: Greetings from NZ

Hi pinkgal.

We moved to Perth in 2003 after 8 years in NZ. Bit of a shaky start, but IMHO there is no comparison. Oz is a million times better.

GOOD LUCK

Re: Lived in Perth - now considering Brisbane

Some great answers here.

We've been in Perth for 9 years and despite a rocky start, everything fell into place eventually. Brisbane was our #1 choice, but in 2003 when we arrived, Brisbane's...

Re: Is it worthwhile moving to Perth??

Train system is excellent Fish.

And I do agree that Qld winters can be very very nice indeed. It's the summer humidity and rain that i couldn't cope with. I had 8 years of that in Auckland, and...

Re: Is it worthwhile moving to Perth??

Agree bizenpces. We lived in Auckland before coming here. Same humidity problem over there. Horrible. You take a pair of leather shoes out of the wardrobe that have been in for a few weeks and they...

Re: Is it worthwhile moving to Perth??

The OP said that she was considering the Tapping/Carramar area if I'm not mistaken.

To rent a very modern 4 bed 2 bathroom house in these areas would cost no more than $450/week.

Just to...

Re: Is it worthwhile moving to Perth??

100k with 2 littlies is do-able.

You won't be dining out in fine dining restaurants too often, but, hey this is Perth, you won't need to. You simply cannot put a price on Perths fantastic summers....

Re: Good British Indian style restaurant Perth

LOL.

I enjoy proper authentic Indian food as much as anyone, but as a Brit, sometimes I get the craving for a good old fashioned UK style curry.

Luckily, we now have such a place, and it is...

Re: Importing a stove

Hi Rowey

I've installed quite a few Ilve cooktops here in Perth, so I'm sure you wont have a problem. At the end of the day, if you're on natural gas, you will need natural gas...

If it was AGA approved....not a problem.

If not, you would need to pay an inspector from your Australian gas supplier to inspect and approve the stove. That would cost you about $200.

A stove...

We haven't...
