Re: Anyone moving to Boston in the Spring?

More thoughts about housing, Phil (can you tell I'm wasting my morning at the computer!).

Be sure you're going to be in a home at least a few years if you decide to buy. Selling costs are high -...

Re: Anyone moving to Boston in the Spring?

Phil,

By the way, I'm an ex-teacher too -...

Re: US/UK bedding question

Pottery Barn have some nice duvet covers too. I've found them on ebay before - do a search for PB duvet king size, for example.

Re: 1000 Great Places in MA - Nominations?

I'd nominate The World's End Reservation in Hingham. It's a great place to walk for a few miles next to the ocean and see the Boston skyline. The town of Hingham is a nice place to stroll around and...

Re: Advice for tipping at a hair salon needed

Some of my friends tell me not to tip the owner of the salon - I find this awkward as I go to a salon where one girl cuts my hair and another (the owner) colours it. I generally give both 20%.

Do...

Re: Pre-schools, schools and places to live in Boston - thoughts?
