Re: Key cutting near Ayamonte

The shop next to the market in Ayamonte was perfect. It's called Ferretería Camilo. I got 4 keys cut for €12 which is great value. I was quoted £25 for a single apartment key in the UK...

Hello.

I mislaid a door key to an apartment in CE (didn't happen in Spain so not worried). I want to get some replacement keys cut (they're made by ezcurra) and wondered if anyone has any...

Re: Gas engineer

We were lucky (or they are efficient). We called the Gas Company back the next morning and they came back that night. All sorted. We'd had the boiler examined last autumn after another boiler in our...

Gas engineer

We had a gas engineer ring our doorbell this afternoon in Vista Esuri. If we understood correctly (our Spanish is sketchy) he was suggesting that our gas boiler had to be checked every five years. We...

Brexit

Oh my goodness. This is rather awkward. There is no plan. Still our leaders can wing it. Oh, I forgot, we have no leaders. Hmmm. Why didn't we think about that?
Plans for retirement to CE may have...

Re: Portugal Tolls

I'm being tight. When I rent a car at Faro airport it's always got Portuguese plates. The rental firm then charges a rent of 2Euro a day. I find it irritating to pay that charge, when i don't use the...

Portugal Tolls

From the look of things, the Tolls seem set to stay on the A22. The far left parties in the Govt want them dropped, but the main party don't seem keen. :(

I don't mind a toll where there's a...

Re: C E recycling bins

It's the orange bin that is confusing. They seem to be filled with random rubbish and not organic material. And there's always some material that doesn't fit a category. Where do you put that waste?

Re: C E recycling bins

Has anyone worked out the answer to this question yet? We were there last week and we were left with a bag of rubbish that didn't fall into any particular category. Was a leaflet ever handed out to...

Re: Golf Club

Don't like the tone of that question. I just needed to say that. Calling someone a clown is inappropriate. Calling someone Pocoloco when they're called Cocoloco is ruder still.

Re: Costa Esuri maintainance fees + advice

Fortunately my partner is a lawyer and there is a Spanish lawyer in her office who does exactly what you describe. Even if we don't use him, he'll hopefully give us good advice.
