When I applied in 2004 it was cheaper to apply to the State board first and then do the modified skills assessment with the ANMC, you may have to fill in the State assessment as if you were going...

I work at the QEH, not as big as the RAH or Flinders. The staffing ratios are apparently worse in the private sector compared to public (agency staff say they sometimes work 1:6 or 1:8 dependent...

Not sure how long it takes if you have initial skills assessment from ANMC, I did it the other way round (see time line below for dates) You could try asking pieman on adbrits, his wife registered...

It is cheaper to do the assessment with the WA Nursing Board and then register with them, then you apply to ANMC for modified skills assessment.

However I don't know how quick WA are,...

We also didn't use an agent.
Read booklet 6 (downloadable) on the DIMIA website, that explains everything you need to do to apply for a visa.
Read the info on the ANMC website about getting...
