Thanks everyone it is nice to get validation of your choices. Makes me feel as if I am on the right track....As for the driving license I am going to need MANY lessons before I am brave enough to try...

I am doing it currently as well - my understanding from my vet is the microchip will have to be put in before a rabies vaccination so most people will have to redo the rabies afterwards. So my dogs...

Sorry I probably should clarify - I lived in England until age 6 then moved about a lot - California, Germany but in between moves I went to school in Wellingborough for 6 months here, 6 months...

Check the online chat thru the ukinusa website. If its been printed it should be with you in a day or so. They were very helpful for me!

They told me the same thing on a Thursday, I received my supporting documentation on the Friday and my passport on the Monday and I flew out the next Monday! There is hope!...

Sent in: March 1
Money taken out: March 8
Additional documents needed: April 9 (scanned and faxed in that day)...

I agree with Christmasoompa! Healthcare costs for someone with a condition is prohibitive - even post Obamacare. It might be better to find somewhere else that can fulfill some of the other items...

This is also where I am looking as rents seem to be a good 150-200 pounds cheaper for similar properties than in London area. Plus the job situation seems to be decent. I also have 2 dogs coming over...
