UK TV in Perth - Needs modifications.

Hi all,

Although it was not recommended to ship the telly, I still did as it did not cost any extra and is a very nice big one! ;-)

Now I have the problem of it not receiving any Oz TV signal....

It seems that at the moment there are about 10-12 grants being given on Friday and today, so the pace does look like it as increased since 1st July.

I have called the PO and they do a great deal on one-way travel.

You can be covered for sometime after you arrive until you get signed up with local medical services.

Worth a call.

and there is also the quesiton about personal travel insurance. As mentioned, your UK policy wont cover you unless you have return trip and still be a permanent resident of the UK.

This is not good news for you....

It depends on how you have sent them and where you sent them from. Obviously if you are in a major centre, i.e. London, Manchester etc it may be quicker then...
