You'll need an address. It's not a panel physician that gets in touch. It's the provincial centre that deals with infectious diseases. I only know the one in BC which is the BCCDC.

I found calling surprisingly easy and I was not on hold for long. But I know what you mean: I usually have to spend several days working up to it.

I was told 8-12 weeks for processing after the phone application. Perhaps the mail in takes longer.

Have you called them to check on progress?

Oh yes ... I know the pension is fixed and you don't get the increases but what I did not know was that deferring it would not enable me to get a higher amount if there's an increase before I want it...

Update: I filled in the online contact form. I got an email back overnight saying I could fill in the form and mail it or apply over the phone.
I called this morning. It took about 25 minutes.

However, if you have already been landed virtually and received your eCOPRs, online via the Portal, you are already Permanent Residents. This is now the case for many applicants in Canada. They don't...

If you were landed virtually (because you're in Canada), and have received eCOPR but not your PR Cards, you won't be able to board a plane back to Canada (unless you are US citizens).
