Enjoying the easy pace, glad to have not been in the UK for all that time, especially for all those government farces which would like have driven me bonkers had I been "in" it all.

The original plan (way back) was to take the family for 2 to 3 months and take various European trips from there. With one thing and another that fell to a two week trip to Europe and any of that period in England would have wasted too much time. We were going to have a meet up with UK family in France - that way we would all get a trip.

I don't have great mobility anymore so I'm resigned to not being able to show the family a world outside Canada.

Sorry to read about your mobility...mine isn't great either (Parkinson's)...
