Re: L1A to GC

You can file for I-485 the same time as I-140 (lucky you, it was a nightmare throughout 2018/19 due to retrogression and many were scrambling)

So you should be fine because you should be able to...

Re: Trying to migrate to Maryland pr Virginia

Unfortunately the American dream is in reality for many, only a dream. It's hard to be able to come here without getting married to a USC or working for a company in your home country with US offices...

Re: L1-b blanket visa

Congrats on the opportunity. In truth years ago, these used to almost be pre approved then you turned up at Grosvenor square unless there was a major red flag. The company I worked for had a blanket...

Re: Possible Job Travel

You don't need to convince this board that you are of good moral character and there was no violence or jail, the US authorities would make up their own mind on admissibility. To be assisted, folk on...

Re: Recent L1-A Experience

There is quite a lot of confusion about extensions, really it is a brand new application based in your current situation. Obviously the time you have worked in the US counts towards your maximum...

Re: Recent L1-A Experience

So did your husband get put into administrative processing for "no live trace"? I think it's going to be a long holding pattern given the current climate unfortunately. However, get them the info...

Re: Recent L1-A Experience

You have to leave the US to get the new visa stamp right? An extension is actually a new application for all intensive purposes as a brand new visa is issued.

Re: USCIS extension to respond RFE or NOID

The bigger question is how do you send your RFE in? As the offices are all shut and not accepting courier deliveries.

Re: If you have filed for AOS but L runs out, you can stay in the country?

I left the US apply to recapture some time on my L, which was succesfully renewed. I left the country after AOS had been filed for which made me a little nervous but apparently on L and H status you...

Re: If you have filed for AOS but L runs out, you can stay in the country?

Thanks so I would basically have to resign from my company because I can't work if L runs out and my EAD doesn't come in time.? Does that not in turn somehow effect my approved I-140? Or is it just...

If you have filed for AOS but L runs out, you can stay in the country?

Can you stay in the US even if your I-94 is expired with an I-485 in the system? I think I will be in that scary position soon, as I don't have an EAD and L is running out :(

Retrogression killed...

Re: Questions on transition from L1B to H1B

Why are going to H-1B? Is this due to waiting for your PD to come up with an approved I-140 but running out of L status? That's what I am also doing as am running out of time on my L1-A. I got...

Re: L-1a to Green Card processing route?

Bumping this thread. Is anyone else on an endless wait for their priority date to become current? For me it got so bad and time sensitive that my company applied for H1-B because apparently on that...

Re: L-1a to Green Card processing route?

Thank you that is not good. My priority date is October 2018 and the date for AOS seems to be Jan 01st. My L expires In Jan 2019. This has just become a lot more stressful.

Maybe I should leave...

Re: L-1a to Green Card processing route?
