USCIS extension to respond RFE or NOID
USCIS announced today that for RFE’s or NOID’s dated between March 1 and May 1 2020, they will consider any response received within 60 days of the original response date.

so in layman's terms .....they are extending the time you have to respond to RFE?

ImmigrationSpeak can be weird at times. No, the time is not extended. But, any evidence or other response will be considered if less than 60 days late.

The bigger question is how do you send your RFE in? As the offices are all shut and not accepting courier deliveries.

Yup, USPS is still operating as are the other essential delivery services. I think the OP was referring to USCIS offices being closed. I don't know if that is strictly true. The only thing you lose in sending it in would be the fee for overnight delivery and/or registered certified return receipt requested mail.
