How would a course over a few weeks give you the same quailfactions as a 4 year apprenticeship it simply would not.and to do an apprenticeship in canada you need to be a PR.

No idea yet i would imagine downtown labourering in one of the new buildings or at least i hope i will be:) or working in a bar on 17th avenue:)..i taught these are perfect as they are well located...

How why?:D there serious coin and from what it seems good nightlife to be had in Calgary electricians cant make no where near as much in London:)

yea i suppose you would want to be earning 20-25 at least to have a good time and probably work 50 hours a week but that's still good money when you are only supporting yourself;)

Thanks mate so picking up a labourer job would be handy enough? whats the hourly rate going?:D thanks for the advice i will pack as if i am going to england:)

Cant answer that one mate i applied for a few jobs in London not much feedback for electrician applied for some in Calgary loads of feedback was at a jobs expo in Dublin at the weekend and company's...

Bankview, Knobhill, killarney,mount pleasant are all the areas i am looking at also sunulta and sunnyside too i arrive in April:)
