He's off seeing companies in both Montreal & Calgary. First job offer in Montreal, currently he's in an interview in Calgary. He has a hire car and list as long as his arm of places to explore too....

oh jings, our Springer is a complete nightmare on the lead - he "walks" about 20 times further than me in the local forest here, haring about off the lead. We're still not settled on where to move...

Stepford ? Bring it ! Just looking for a small town, don't really get living in cities, although nice to have one nearby should I get the urge for proper shopping / a bit of culture.

thanks - I *think* his chip is near his shoulder but will get it scanned at the vet here before we go to check it's readable, then get the local vet in Canada to register him. He does a good escape...

We found Air France / KLM to be much cheaper for us as I needed to book specific dates and destination. Flying on a Sunday also appears to be way cheaper than mid-week.

Abernethy is a very sweet little village and Perthshire has a lot to offer, except career progression for my OH. And the snow isn't too reliable either (I love xc skiing).

Just as well they've put a 6 month halt to the FSW immigration. I just downloaded the forms.
