Thanks for that guys.

I have been here on my 1st year WHV and laid bricks between October - April so I can how unberable it can get but its far better than laying bricks in -2 in the pissing rain...

I havn't asked yet but another lad who started the same day as me asked the boss the day we started and my boss said ask him again in a months time, so it gives him time to see what hes like etc....
