Don't know if you would want to do it - but why not ship the dogs 2 weeks before you fly - then you have 2 weeks to settle before you can collect your dog and this gives you less stress when packing...

We moved out to Brisbane nearly 1 year ago - flew our 4 Newfoundlands with us no problems - we used Golden Arrow - they were great.

Aussie customs hate wood and will charge an arm and a leg to fumigate it! They hate rust as well.

My advise would be leave the timber products behind - sell them - they are cheap enough over here....

Well we've done it.

Me and Mr Timber 3 kids all fly 13th October from Heathrow Singapore Air 10.15pm.

The Newfs are in Sydney basking in the sun and we arrive 1 week before they are released.
