Re: Renew GC or go for citizenship?

Thank you!

My GC expires at the end of this year, and I'm already in conversation with the lawyer that did my GC, so hopefully it will all go smoothly.

Re: Renew GC or go for citizenship?

It won't be anytime soon, as I still have a few years until retirement!

Re: Renew GC or go for citizenship?

Thank you all again!
The taxes were the worrying part that made me hesitate about citizenship, but I think my retirement income will be low enough that it won't be a problem.
I own property in the...

Re: Keeping UK mobile number

Can you stay with EE but switch to a PAYG account?
I've had the same number with Virgin UK for over 20 years, its now in my dual sim phone so it automatically comes back to life when I step off...

Re: Relocating Cat in Cabin London-USA

Without a microchip, how can you prove that the rabies vaccine card is for the same cat?
Its best to get the chip and vaccine done within the 30 days prior to travel.

You're welcome : )
Best of luck with your job search. It takes a while to find a job in Illinois, and you might have to work in other fields for a while to keep an income.

Re: Chicago

OK, thanks. There's not much there, I guess it depend on the work you do whether you can find anything there, but its also not a bad commute to Chicago if you drive. Not much public transport there!

I don't know where the 500 million came from.
All I know is what I see, 90% of patients are from abroad.

Whether you have seen it recently or not, the NHS is slowly imploding.
