Thanks Paulry, they are supposed to be optional in QLD too but it is quickly turning into a totalitarian state. They will be building Campbell Newman's ministry of truth soon ;)

Just go PAYE and let the agency deal with it. You can register your own business but its a royal pain in the ass as with everything here.

When we first arrived, we actually asked our insurance company if they carry over no claims from the UK and they said yes.
