Re: Indian Food

Oh curry, how I miss thee. Haven't yet come across anything remotely decent. Will have to give Monsoon a try.

(ETA Not on here so much these days (and I noticed others were pretty...

Re: Martin's money saving tip equivalent in US

Thanks.

I started this thread as a spinoff after I read another thread about saving money - I think it was Tonrob and someone else talking. One of the websites that was on that was called...

Martin's money saving tip equivalent in US

Hi,

I used to read Martin's Money Saving Tips in the UK. Just wondering if anyone knows of any equivalent for the US?

Thanks

Re: Change of address not recorded

That's interesting. I'm a bit confused though- I also sent in the AR-11 along with the I-865 (change of sponsors address) when we moved (last year). This week I got a letter from the USCIS which...

Re: Is there a wiki for the I-751?

I've just printed off the instructions for the I-751, looks simple enough, perhaps that's why there is no wiki (?).

Is there a wiki for the I-751?

Hi all,

It's that time again! Have been settling in to the US very nicely, can't believe two years have flown by:ohmy: I check in on this section of the forum every so often but find that I've...

Re: Sadness when coming backfrom UK to USA

That sounds rather extreme. How long have you been here? Can't really give you much advice as I don't miss it that much. Try eating Cadburys.

Re: How have you been treated here as a Brit?

No, I've noticed that too. 'I'll get the ....." never with a please or thank you. I always think I may seem a bit overboard with my 'could I have the ...... please?'

Think somebody mentioned on...

Re: How have you been treated here as a Brit?

Same here. My husband constantly thinks I'm saying something negative when I'm not. Apparently it's my 'tone' Don't know how I'm supposed to change that after 30 years of speaking the way I...

Re: Good places to live in North San Diego County with kids

Hello.

Are you looking to rent or buy? How long will you be living here?

Carmel Mountain is very close to RB. I used to live there. It's a nice place to live, very convenient for the I-15. ...

Re: San Diego Meet up early 2014

Hey,

No fb or thread (apart from this one) that I know of.

There are plenty of apartment complexes that allow pets. What area you planning on living in?

Re: Retard (me)

I don't think you can give yourself karma. I just tried, haha. It just told me how many points I have.

I never think to look at the karma thing or who has given me karma.
