Congrats on your visa being granted. Mine was granted a couple of months ago and I have now been in Oz for 3 weeks. I got a visa stamp in my passport prior to leaving the UK by going to Australia...

Thanks. It seemed like the waiting was never going to end. Off to the High Commission tomorrow to get the stamp in my passport and we fly 2 weeks tomorrow for the Central Coast :thumbsup:

I don't think there is anything you can do. Once you've submitted your application somewhere you can't go elsewhere and if they have a backlog, you just have to wait it out.

Looks like a day for granting visas as I got the APPROVED email this evening.

They have given me the subclass 100 visa so I don't have to worry about going through it all again :thumbsup:

They will take the payment there and then I think. I posted mine and the payment was taken from my credit card the morning it arrived at their office. Good luck with the application.
