Al Reef is not without it's issues... there are a few FB pages for the various 'villages' but if you look for 'Al Reef Arabian Village' on FB you'll get a good oversight of what life is like...

If you are a confident driver, then driving is fine. Getting a carloan is easy enough, but time consuming and frustrating...as with any application you will make... if you multiply the time they tell...

The first time we were in Abu Dhabi I came through an agency and worked in the ICU at SKMC. They would have provided accomodation, but it was in a shared apartment in a hospital acomodation building...

Thanks for the tip!! I also realised that there is a button next to the mirror adjust thingy that opens and shuts them too which is handy!!!! We paid 75k for it, but I do think we paid too much :o
