A family ticket for 2 adults and 2 kids £102 ! and then £6 to park the car!
Hot dog or burger £5.95. Typical british day out?...

perhaps I should have phrased my question better?
Can you just show up in Canada and as a visitor then find a job and then get a work visa etc?

Thank you for your reply Canadian Carpers,
The C&G I took was 1 day a week over 2 years but I went in extra days and doubled up on exams etc and was one of only 2 people to finish it in one years...

The Trade Certificate I have is City & Guilds 6129 in plumbing, it was a 2 year course but I was able to complete it in 1 year, don't know therefore if...

Obtained a one-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship and completed at least 13 years of full-time or full-time equivalent...

by the time i was planning on applying i will only have 1-2 years experience in plumbing, i have been in work all my life but in the last 10 years Jewellery Sales mostly.

Thats right, you have to do the course as described 1 year full time or 2 years part time then get a job as a plumber for a year first, then if (and I hope it is ) that Plumber is still on the LIST...

To work as a plumber here you need to be qualified as you point out. Which means at the minimum first getting your City & Guilds Level 2, this is done at college either full...
