Mount Royal not the Plateau. We rented a 1 br for $700 in 2006. Corner of Boulevard Graham and Rockland. I went to work with the train from Canora but had the option of the blue line metro in Acadie.

We'll see how the 2012 Olympics are in London. Typical media bashing by the Tabloids in the UK, they gave Canada a right going over for the recent games in Vancouver.

You seem to be all over the place and basing potential destinations on vacation memories, big mistake. As for Vancouver, it's the most expensive city in North America, so even with a carpenter job...

What are your reasons for selecting Golden?
This is really just a stop off town for people travelleing between Alberta and BC. Mainly service economy and not a place i'd ever consider to live.
