These are just a few of the phrases and expressions I hear from Canadians that really piss me off.
Across the pond
Jolly old England
Back in the day
24/7
Where're you from?
My bad
At the end of the day
Chesterfield
Is that ever . . .
Get my head around it
I don't understand cricket
. . . scenario
Non-partisan
War-bride
Having a visit
Can I use your washroom?
Wow
I'd put my responses to these but I don't want to come across as arrogant and superior.

A couple of months ago I was walking up Denman street with the missus, when we saw a couple of guys bump into each other - you know the sort, young, baseball cap and long shorts wearing types who think they are cool. For a couple of minutes it was all high fives, hugs, hey buddy, nice to see you bro etc, and then (I shit you not) one of them says "sorry, what was your name again?". I don't think I'll ever see a better metaphor for Vancouver than the one in that small vignette.

It's so flat in Saskatchewan, you can watch your dog run away from home for a week.

Wow, for a bunch of people who enjoy criticizing Canada for being boring your sure are quick to tear apart anything that might make the place unique.
