They would take an NVQ dunno about SVQ, but City & Guilds they won't entertain (from personal experience)

But all they did for me was send me a letter from AIT to say I'm a tradesman in my own...

I'm not sweating it because you'll learn a lot on site anyways and if you knuckle down and do an hour or two when you get back to the room it will be made a lot easier
