Thanks! Yes, I will carry all my documents including old passport, new passport and anything else I can think of! It should help that I'm travelling with my Canadian husband and kids as well.

You can get an agent to look up rentals for you and make appointments etc but they can only get you rentals that are on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service - google it) and lots of landlords don't put...

You can have 2 paypal accounts - one with paypal.ca and one with paypal.co.uk. You need to have bank accounts in both countries. I have transferred money this way and it was fairly easy and fee free....
