My original 3 year deal with Rogers was up in April and had to make the same choice. In end I stayed with Rogers on another 3 year deal which was slightly better (unlimited internet usage vs capped)...

Glad it's all going smoothly.

I've only had to use cheques for paying the rent. My employer asked for a void cheque to set up direct deposit and I was able to print one from my online banking...

The status on my PR Card Renewal changed today to Decision Made - Approved.

Application was received by CIC on 12th August 2015 - so about 188 days, pretty much what they stated.

It was the Irving at the corner of Torbay Road and Pearson Street. OH only fills up in the east end as it's generally cheaper than elsewhere. Knock on effect of Costco being so cheap.

Have a look at get_iplayer. It's not quite as simple to use as Radio Downloader but I've have been able to get my fix of Radcliffe and Maconie with it.

Decor was a bit dated but apart from that the it was fine.

We're in a similar situation to yourself, just waiting for the house to sell. We thought it best to get a couple of removal quotes done just in case we got lucky and found a buyer....

A few years when I was in Van, i found a wee "Scottish" shop in Gastown near the Gastown clock that sold all sorts of Scottish stuff, including Irn Bru. It was expensive though.

We needed further blood tests and ECGs done all of which were done by local GP not the DMP.

So it's looking like August then! Bugger.:D
