You can go to money changers. They can make for you the DD in AU$. You can also go to the Western Union agents in your zone and ask them to make DD. Their charges would be bit higher...

Alternatively, provide them as much information of your background as you can (not just a PCC), so that it can help them finalize all kind of security checks.
