My partner is earning less as a nurse here than she was in the UK, but she was a band 6 specialist in the UK and here she is working as something more basic. The difference isn't huge though.

It's not the patronising aspect of the question that bugged me, it's the repetitiveness of it and the fact that it provides a platform for all the same old anti-NZ moaners to vent their predjudices....

I was lucky enough to get seats both ways, but got sent to the wrong platform in welly, boarded the wrong train. Was told to get off and then had to catch a different train from a different platform...
