Unfortunately I am not completely sure about Sitges Foreigners Office either but as mentioned above maybe you just come to get your NIE from Barcelona if you are not sure?

This is honestly something I have not experienced. Ever. I don't speak a word of Catalan, only Spanish, and have never had any kind of problems of getting along with Catalans. I work in HR industry...

It's all about choices and what you are looking for :) At the moment I am happy to live modest here in the middle of all excitement and action than bigger and nicer somewhere more quiet place....

Registration must be completed within 3 months stay in Spain but in practise it’s better to complete as soon as you have decided to stay and work in Spain. Why? Because even if you were an EU/EEA...

Warmly recommend Barcelona - here we have the beach, mountains, nature, money, cheap flights all over globe, fantastic gastronomic offer and huge amount of art :)

At least here in Barcelona we have quite a strong representation of different diets - you can find organic food shops, organic restaurants and even organic fast food :p

As said before, everything is possible but you have to be well prepared before you come. In my work I see so many young people moving here with no understanding about the culture, language, job...
