I shall give that a go thanks. We are using unotelly at the minute with no problems & are experimenting with roku & plex but that is not helping us with watching uk based TV. Thanks again.

I want to be able to listen to the shows in the car. So I download the complete shows onto my computer and then transfer them to my phone.

When we are in the states, I draw cash from the ATM with my PC financial debit card, and as others have said credit card for everything else.

We have looked at direct buy before, but were put off by the high membership fee. Are the savings that much that it is worth the cost of membership?

It costs me about $120 for the round trip. I stay up for my 7 work days, I stay at a friends house in town, but there are jobs up there that include camp.

We live in Cochrane, and I work in Fort Mac. In fact we even lived there for a couple of years. I work 7 on and 7 off, I drive up every week. It is about an 7-8 hour drive. Cochrane is really good...

No, I had mine in the uk also but didn't carry it over here. I can't remember if it is callled a class 1, but you need to do a seperate course for an airbrake endorsement. Like I said I didn't carry...

I live and work in Fort Mac. I'm a heavy equipment tech as well and the money up here is nothing like what you would earn in Calgary. With the shift work as well, you only are really working 6 months...

We did the test and ceremony just last week. Like you we couldn't attend the first test in Edmonton at the end of February this year. So the second test for us took just 3 months.

+1 for the exambank. I passed the truck and coach no problems in 2004. But I challenged the heavy equipment mechanics license as well in 2008. I used exambank and that helped immensely.
