No, we rent directly from the owners - good deal actually since we didn't have to pay an agent fee ;)

I will go to some of the rental agents around but as you said not the same a personal...

Unfortunately, the building is owned by a rather large corporation and they have full time team of people for maintenance etc (and I have already asked them without success).

I was just reading a post on the one of the tech forums that I follow and there is a report there that Skype is having a worldwide outage for some (most) user.

That may be the issue.

I also use Google chat/talk (whatever they call it) right from Googee mail.

All the computers here that we use Skype with are Mac based.

Don't have a windows based machine to try it.

I use Skype every day and have never had that problem.

We had considered an online tutor but with these subjects we feel that it is better to have the tutor present rather than remote to check thru workflow and be able to point out mistakes on the page....

Thanks for the replies.

The apartment currently has a 1.8 meter dish and I am told it is already aligned for 'English TV' which I assume mean Sky.

I want to watch BBC, ITV Channel 4 etc and...
