Re: SKYPE IN SPAIN
Check it is still in the programs menu, click on the windoze icon, bottom left of screen, then click on programs icon, then check if Skype is listed there.
If not shut down and reboot then try and download it again, hopefully your settings and cash will still be on the new copy.

Re: SKYPE IN SPAIN
Skype has stopped working (yes I know!)
A problem caused the programme to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Gee thanks guys

Re: SKYPE IN SPAIN
I was just reading a post on the one of the tech forums that I follow and there is a report there that Skype is having a worldwide outage for some (most) user.
That may be the issue.

Im on windows vista.I have just checked and skype is working for me but skype has had problems over the months. We couldnt use it for a while so if there is a tech problem then it may be that cos not everyone is affected at the same time.
I keep my fingers crossed for you.I know how you feel as it is our lifeline too and I regularly "see" my daughter.

SOLVED GUYS.
I found a site called http://www.wallaceit.co.uk/software/...topped-working and it talked me through what to do. The only thing then when I got skype back my screen resolution went potty so there was another half hour wasted fixing that. What a wasted afternoon. Thanks everyone for your input.

Skype, based in Luxemborg, issued a temporary manual fix for the problem that involved deleting a file call "shared.xml" from the its program folder, but said it was working on a more simple solution.
