I agree that Mandurah has best of both worlds. Last stop on the train line and right on the freeway so only 45 min drive/train to Perth. Only an extra hours drive to Margaret River than Bunbury would...

I am in the exact same position as you... WHV to 820. I was with my company for 6 months and applied to have my working rights extended further on the basis that my 820 application had been lodged....
