kaeel, you said you've finished F1-F4 in ACCA? just get done till F9 and get the Oxford Brookes Bachelors Degree in Accounting and use it to enroll for CPA (you've to sit for all 14 papers).

Yup, thats the cost of each CPA exam - 785 AUD. Pretty steep.

2 things.

1. CIMA has an agreement with ICWAI, and an 'accelerated route', as far as I remember. If you're considering this route...

i am Indian, ACCA affiliate. I am aware of ICWAI qualification - have colleagues who've done it.

ICWA would be difficult to market in Aus, dont know about CMA USA. I would suggest you enroll...

wow, open book!?! 12-15 hours per paper/segment!?! ive spent hundreds of hours on my acca, and still can't seem to get past the finishing line! :frown:

I have appeared for my last 2 ACCA papers and hopefully if i pass (and become a member - training done), i shall register with CPAA immediately.

On the brighter side, you can at least take the CPAA exams from within your country (i'm assuming you live in the UK). I live in India and shall have to travel to Thailand/Dubai for taking them!

the cima-cpa mutual arrangement is there till dec 31 2012. (unless renewed further)

you could possibly finish the cima by nov. 2011 (or even may 2012), gain cima membership and get the cpa, but...
