Probably a little late to get a Halifax Clarity card as that is the only(?) card which gives you the perfect rate of exchange on purchases - as hyped by Martin Lewis in his Money saving Tips website.

A lot of Insurance co's have a time limit set on your visit - Staysure is one which doesn't have a small time - about 3 or 4 months I think.

Geoff: I'm spending a lot more than that - and at my time of life I'm not bothered. 30% occupancy of 5 months and a bit more revenue in the winter for skiing. Estimating gross profit of over $150k.
