Re: Advice on not getting 'overseas' fees status and getting a Student loans-Time in

We'll see what happens - 1 year, 3 years, 7 years and 1 month - it's still temporary by virtue of a temporary visa, unless they then give a further definition of the word temporary, which isn't given...

Re: Advice on not getting 'overseas' fees status and getting a Student loans-Time in

My daughter is in a similar situation. She was here in the US on a H4 attached to her dad's H1B. She went back to the UK in October 2010, applied in January 2011 and in early Feb, got unconditional...

Re: Timeline - FSW application to CIO in Sydney, NS

For those who have received the 120 day letter - how many of you had it delivered to your inbox as opposed to your junk folder?

I've just come to the horrible realisation that my junk folder was...

Re: Timeline - FSW application to CIO in Sydney, NS

Paperwork received by Sydney on May 20, credit card debited 13 August and zilch received so far. Am wondering if the rule changes are confusing matters even further with the people who applied about...

Re: NEW TO SITE - CURRENT TIME SCALE FOR FROM UK

How slow for the UK police checks? I'm holding off sending for ours as "they say" 2 weeks. I need to get FBI checks too and they can take up to 4 months, so would like the FBI checks to be well...

Re: Retailer Product Warranty Policy

I see this "return to manufacturer" as a cop-out - it's common to find it on items here in the US too. I use my ignorance of consumer law to my advantage when I return an item to the store I bought...
