I think that it does not make sense to pay for health insurance 12 months in advance before visa is approved. What if visa is not approved? Do you get all of your money back?

I think that this would work as they want everyone to sign up for private health insurance. They are not accepting medicare on its own.

This is confusing. My agent has just told me that the COs dont know whats happening and also medicare staff are not sure about this ruling as well.

What I meant was that if a child has lived all their life in a low risk country they will not need the medical.

So this basically means that people should not go for this visa option when applying just to be on the safe side.
