Exactly the same visa class as such conditions and rights are pretty much the same. With the 176 SS you have a moral obligation to reside in the state who sponsored you and fill out a few surveys.

I wouldn't worry too much about the wording you have a CO so somebody is looking at your file. You should be pretty close to grant now if there aren't any complications.

Normally. But if you need to upload a document rather just do it to save some time. The person answering your PLE probably saw it as an outstanding requirement on your file.

Can't help with the parental visa. But if your baby was born outside of Australia you'll need to apply for a visa for the baby. (not a big deal though).

Pink Tuesday, Finally Visa Approved!

Checked my status page like I do everyday. Low and behold the first time it ever changed it now says "Applicant Approved". (All docs still required) :)

Doubt they have access to ACS assessments in the normal course of processing. They apparently do regular audits on assessment bodies but that's another process completely.

As soon as you have the Aussie Immigration stamp in your passport you are validated.

Your PR does expire in the normal sense. At end of the initial term you can either 1) Apply for citizenship (If you meet the 4 year residency criteria at that stage) or
2) Apply for a resident...

1. Yes no problem, I'm on the CSL and have victoria sponsorship'
2. The 176 SS visa allows you to work anywhere in Victoria including Melbourne.

My bad. Mis-understood the thread it seems. I never had Form 80/security referral appearing on my checklist it was just an e-mail request. But then again my CO does not log anything on the online...

Sounds like a far better process compared to the old manual Form 80.
