Thanks for your fast response. hah the Cockatoos were definately loud in the morning when I was in AUS. Never saw black cockatoos or king parrots which are gorgeous.

Oh definately saw my share of lizards along the east coast. Lots of goannas, geckos and water dragons i would see in the mangroves.

Thats awesome though, your saying you have about 70 diff lizards...

Calgary is white, safe and even though Im not from there I guarantee no where near as poor or gang ridden.

I would take Kings Cross off of the list personally. The 2 weeks I stayed there I walked around at all hours of the night by myself without a problem.

As for a desireable place to live I would say...
