If you are a Canadian (or Washington State) resident you can get an Edge Card which is cheaper than the normal lift passes plus you get discounts on accommodation and in the shops.

I do agree with the previous poster that there is "a perception" that the further north on the Island you go the less desirable the education is... however there is also the view by many...

Given that you rented it out you would have two issues to deal with...

UK and Canada.

Lets do UK first... if this was your primary residence before you left the UK, then you are not due...
