We use our british tv with a plugin freeview box (our has a HD recorder). The freeview is pretty good here and some channels are in HD.

We arrived in New Zealand from the Isle of Man in January and are living just south of Auckland.

Just a quick update. We had the MAF inspection on Tuesday and all went well. The weeks of cleaning before we left paid off.

We ended up paying the $850 for TMC to unload and reload our goods for...

Well, it looks like we are going to have to pay the $850 to The Moving Company. Add the MAF fees on top of that and we will be looking at well over $1000 in total.

MAF will not allow our container...

We were invoiced the $850 after we told them that we will pay MAF directly.

That is almost a weeks wages for me. Thanks for the advice. I will update with the outcome. Any other recommendations...

Our container is now in NZ but it is still awating MAF inspection and delivery. Once this is done it will have taken 15 weeks. :ohmy::ohmy::ohmy:

We went with AMI in the end and reduced our contents value a little. We have a rough idea of what they are worth as we priced it all up before we put in in the container...
